SREE KUMAR has done economic viability and business modeling for housing types. This includes modeling financing for low-cost housing. A particular speciality is demographic forecasting to assess the evolution, over time, of housing needs according to demographic changes, also taking into account such factors as birthrates, labour force movements, in-migration, and population ageing.

SHARON SIDDIQUE is particularly interested in the politics of labour force formation, including ethnic, gender, and wage issues. The dynamics of tripartite labour negotiations (government/employers/employees) as they directly impact on issues of worker housing is also an area of interest. She has also consulted on community development initiatives within worker housing areas, particularly in self-contained resort developments.
